Musical Theatre - May 2010
              "Broadway  Preview"
Throughout the 2009-2010 season we have studied some groundbreaking shows.  We were employed at a crazy, scary flower shop in "Little Shop of Horrors".  We traveled from the World's Fair in "Meet me in St. Louis" all the way to present day Washington Heights in "In The Heights" with a quick stop on "42nd Street.  There was the Halloween Spooktacular which featured "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" and our lesson on all things rhythmic with "Stomp".  We were in Alice's Wonderland with "Jaberwocky"  and we even transported to biblical times in "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"! 
No matter what the show being featured was, our students were always energetic and ready to embrace these new characters.  Their zest for learning and raw talent make teaching them a gift for all of us.
